• Responsibilities
• Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products. Keep track of stock levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure availability.
• Receipt and Dispatch
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices. Prepare outgoing shipments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and packaging.
• Organisation
• Arrange and categorize inventory to optimise space and accessibility. Ensure the storeroom is clean, well-organised, and adheres to safety standards.
• Collaboration
• Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, production, and logistics, to fulfill material requests promptly and efficiently.
• Quality Control
• Participate in quality checks to ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials meet the specified standards.
• Reporting
• Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and any discrepancies as required by management.
• Safety
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and equipment.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong computer skills
• Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools is a plus.
• Forklift licence handy but not essential
• Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
• Must have drivers licence and vehicle
