- Responsibilities
- Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, parts, and products. Keep track of stock levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure availability.
- Receipt and Dispatch
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or invoices. Prepare outgoing shipments with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and packaging.
- Organisation
- Arrange and categorize inventory to optimise space and accessibility. Ensure the storeroom is clean, well-organised, and adheres to safety standards.
- Collaboration
- Coordinate with various departments, including procurement, production, and logistics, to fulfill material requests promptly and efficiently.
- Quality Control
- Participate in quality checks to ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials meet the specified standards.
- Reporting
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and any discrepancies as required by management.
- Safety
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling materials and equipment.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools is a plus.
- Forklift licence handy but not essential
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
- Must have drivers licence and vehicle
