Vectiq is looking for TSPV-cleared IT Change and Release Manager to join a collaborative and highly motivated team for a Federal Government project in Canberra.

About the Role

The IT Change and Release Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end change management lifecycle and overseeing the successful planning and delivery of IT releases. This dual role ensures that all changes and releases to IT systems, applications, and infrastructure are implemented in a controlled and coordinated manner, minimising risk and disruption to business services.

Working closely with stakeholders across development, operations, and business units, the Change and Release Manager ensures changes are not only aligned with business goals but also delivered smoothly and successfully through rigorous governance and planning.

Responsibilities Develop, implement, and continuously enhance IT change management processes, procedures, workflows, and toolsAssess proposed changes for impact, risks, and benefits across IT systems and stakeholdersCoordinate change implementation with internal teams and vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to servicesCommunicate change details, impacts, and timelines clearly with stakeholders; support and train users as neededMonitor and evaluate the success of changes, incorporating feedback for future improvementsIdentify and mitigate risks related to IT changes including service outages, compliance issues, and security vulnerabilitiesPlan, schedule, and coordinate software and system releases across various environmentsMaintain the release calendar and work with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business prioritiesEnsure that all release components (code, configuration, documentation) are tested and validated prior to deploymentCollaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and support teams to maintain robust release governance and rollback plansDrive continuous improvement in change and release practices, tools, and automationIf you currently hold an active TSPV, or have held one previously, then this role is for you!Click APPLY NOW, or send your CV to
