- The Opportunity
As the Change and Release Planning Specialist, you will work with stakeholders across the enterprise to drive the adoption of the release process, adapt it to the organisations needs and embed into the service delivery framework.
You will facilitate the planning, scheduling, implementation and risk assessment of implementing maintenance and transition and cut over plans into the Client's Operational environment.
You will be an integral part of the Support Services team, developing and maintaining efficient and reliable enterprise-wide process and practices (i.e., across Information Technology and Operational Technology environments).
In this role you willLead and own the Release planning and maintenance scheduling process, ensuring it aligns with the technology and service management frameworks to meet the needs of the organisation.Define Key Performance Indicators, monitor and improve performance of the process, driving efficiencies through automation and digitalisation.Ensure that appropriate process documentation is available and current.Review opportunities for process enhancements and for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the process.Address escalated issues with the running of the process. Responsible for ensuring that the process is effective and efficient in daily operations.Collaborate with Service Improvements team on process improvement initiatives.The successful applicant will haveDemonstrated understanding of ITIL, with particular emphasis on service transition and assurance processes.Proven experience in maintenance planning and / or maintenance field experience.A broad knowledge of airways and business technology and an understanding of the organisational structure and accountabilities.Highly developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills.Demonstrated and strong experience in business writing / reporting, including conversion from technical to business language.Experience using toolsets for reporting such as SAP, ITSM tools and MS Excel.Experience in the use of and analysing and reporting on data from multiple sources.
