Job descriptionYour new role Providing specialist procurement policy advice and support to departmental staff Problem solving with a strong client focus; Completing compliance and quality assurance checks on approvals, tender documentation and contract documentation prior to finalisation; Reporting activities which include but are not limited to; Senate Order, Annual Report on contractors and consultants, Indigenous Procurement Policy, Grant reporting, Questions on Notice, Senate estimate briefs and AusTender reporting; Embedding procurement best practice through department procedures and processes; Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Department of Finance Providing some ad hoc advice in the Financial Frameworks space What you'll need to succeed An understanding of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and the Commonwealth Procurement Rules; Ability to work independently with little to no supervision and manage workloads to ensure quality and timely advice; Well-developed oral, written and interpersonal skills; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Experienced in the use of FMIS TechnologyOne What you'll get in return What you need to do now LHS 297508 2726731
