Job Description

The Senior Cyber Security Architect Practice Lead is responsible for leading cyber security pre-sales activities for NCS Australia's supported partners (including BlueVoyant, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, OKTA, ZScaler, Google / Mandiant, Microsoft, and others). This role will drive pre-sales efforts and lead cyber security service initiatives for clients in the Australian Enterprise and Public Sector market. The position requires deep technical expertise in cyber security architecture, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to translate complex security requirements into tailored solutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Lead cyber security pre-sales activities with strategic partners (BlueVoyant, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Crowdstrike, OKTA, ZScaler, Google / Mandiant, Microsoft, etc.), developing comprehensive security solution proposals and architectures that address client requirements.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and security assessments with clients to identify security challenges, requirements, and opportunities for implementing advanced cyber security solutions.
• Design comprehensive security architectures and roadmaps for enterprise clients, leveraging NCS partner technologies and services, ensuring solutions align with industry best practices, compliance requirements, and client business objectives.
• Lead the development of technical presentations, proof of concepts, demonstrations, and solution proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition and technical capabilities of NCS cyber security offerings.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations, vendor partners, and internal teams to support the delivery of high-quality security solutions and drive business growth.
• Mentor and guide junior members of the cyber security practice, sharing technical knowledge and best practices to build team capabilities.
• Stay current with emerging cyber security threats, technologies, and industry trends to continually refine and enhance NCS's security offerings and provide thought leadership to clients.
• Managing multiple stakeholders with diverse security concerns and requirements, including C-level executives, IT leaders, and operational teams, each with different priorities and perspectives on security investments.
• Balancing technical security requirements with business constraints (budget, resources, timelines) to design practical, implementable security solutions that achieve optimal security outcomes within client limitations.
• Navigating the rapidly evolving threat landscape and technology environment, requiring continuous learning and adaptation of security approaches and architectures.
• Coordinating complex security solutions involving multiple vendor technologies and ensuring seamless integration and interoperability across diverse security platforms.
• Managing the competing priorities of multiple client engagements and internal initiatives while maintaining high-quality deliverables and meeting deadlines.
• Will have medium guidance in setting business targets and working towards company goals, requiring initiative and independent decision-making in many aspects of the role.
