Cyber Security Delivery Lead

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Cyber Security Delivery Lead during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with integrity and empathy by supporting our Identity and Access Management (IDAM / IAM) ecosystem through enforcement of initiatives, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Cyber Security Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading our IDAM delivery using a variety of methods including through vendor partnerships. You will drive decision making and translate business plans into operational objectives at business unit level, suggesting initiatives along the way. Focussing on medium-term objectives with planning and impact over 1-2 years, you will document and maintain process maps and associated artefacts to facilitate current and target state assessments.

A large portion of this role will be centred around clearly articulating a vision and fostering a team culture utilising agile methodology. You will assist in linking a technology strategy to business outcomes, and further leverage matrixed teams, enabling our strategy to run efficiently and implement new initiatives to support the overall goal.

• About you

As an experienced Delivery Lead, you will be a collaborative people and outcome focused professional who enjoys proactively communicating with a business to understand and reach their vision. You are a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, supported by an ability to define, develop and manage program scope effectively.

Having experience in end-to-end management of large complex programs, you will have a strong ability to lead, coordinate, communicate and integrate programs and projects within the portfolio and take accountability for their overall success. Collaboration and partnership come naturally to you, where you participate in and promote cooperative working relationships across the organisation and with third parties, including stakeholder management, knowledge sharing and partnership. You have a focus on continuous improvement, having experience in examining functional policies and processes to develop and implement a reduction in errors, improvements in efficiency and increasing effectiveness.
