We are looking for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel with a strong client service focus, personable approach, and commitment to social justice. We are looking for someone with 10+ years post admission experience, and welcome applications from individuals who are technical experts in personal injuries law who are passionate about mentoring, supervising, and developing the technical skills of junior lawyers. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical performance of the lawyers directly reporting to you. You will provide guidance and support to help team members build their expertise in personal injuries law, set clear technical performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and implement training to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the lawyers directly reporting to you.
This role has flexibility to be based at any of our South East Queensland office locations.
We are looking for someone who : Works effectively with others and fosters positive relationships;Has a strong client and relationship building skills;Contributes to technical team success and collaborates seamlessly;Is resourceful, you find creative solutions and adapt to challenges;Is determined and motivated to make a difference, driving successful outcomes;Is client focused with a genuine passion for helping people;Prior experience in Workers' Compensation, Public Liability and CTP Claims;Knowledge of the relevant procedural rules relevant to Personal Injuries.You will bring your experience in : 10+ Years PAE predominantly in personal injuries;Accredited specialist would be highly advantageousReview and analysis of records;Drafting written communications to clients;Attending court for procedural hearings;Deeply understanding clients' needs;Supervising the technical skills of direct reports.If you love what you do, and this is evident in the success of your work, join us in making a difference.
