Superior Home Health Services

are seeking qualified, reliable and passionate NDIS Support Workers to join our team in the

Gympie, and Sunshine Coast

Region

for clients in Nambour, Gympie, Sunshine Coast

and surrounding areas. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You'll be self-motivated and love providing a supportive and enabling environment to those you support.

Responsibilities may include

Working within a person-centered, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client;

Assisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and domestic duties;

Assisting clients with daily errands, companionship, and support;

Providing support with social and recreational activities;

Preparing food, feeding clients, and assisting clients with medications;

Observe, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client;

Responding to emergency situations; and

Working weekend shifts as rostered

Essential Criteria

Manual handling and hoisting

Experience with mental health and physical disability

Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability or equivalent

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges

Current National Police Check

Current First Aid & CPR certificates

Must be available for rotating shifts on weekends (am and pm)

NDIS Worker Screening including Blue Card (or equivalent)

1 year + experience (preferably community)

PPE and First Aid Kits and uniform provided.

Casual hours : up to 38 hours per week (negotiable)
