Support Worker - Mental Health Support / Disability

We are seeking experienced, trustworthy and responsible individuals looking for a rewarding role as a Support Worker (Mental Health / Disability Support / Aged Care).

The role is casual with a generous base salary. Based on the performance and client satisfaction, we can hire you as a contractor.

Freedom Link supports flexibility and ownership of your work schedule according to the agreement with the client. Our clients require reliable and consistent support each week. You have to make yourself available as per agreement with the client.

• Duties Include
• Providing support to people with disabilities and people having mental health related issues
• Assisting with light housework, cooking, cleaning etc.
• Helping people with daily life tasks.
• Keeping clients company providing positive social support and building confidence.
• Reviewing and updating care support plans.
• MANDATORY Requirements
• Minimum of a Certificate III or IV in Community Services / Mental Health (or similar) is essential
• Current 1st Aid Certificate & CPR
• Covid-19 vaccination certificate (plus booster when eligible)
• Own a reliable vehicle or access to a vehicle to drive clients places and run errands
• NDIS Supporting Effective Communication and Worker Orientation Modules (Online)
• Excellent communication skills
• Full driver's license
• Reliable, responsible attitude towards work (available at least 3 days each week / 2 weekdays and weekends)
• Access to the internet for rosters and client reporting
