Trades Assistant / Labourer

Ace Materials Handling is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated casual mechanically minded Trades Assistant / Labourer to join our Ipswich based team.

ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company that has been operating since 1991 with branches in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Darwin, Brendale, Cairns and Townsville. We provide services to clients in all industries through servicing and maintenance of assets including cranes, mobile machinery and supply of materials handling equipment.

This role will see you working alongside our trade qualified technicians on a day to day basis. ACE will also provide comprehensive competency based training to give you the skills to work on servicing, inspecting and repairing a variety of materials handling equipment.

• Duties & Responsibilities;
• General site works, maintenance and ad-hoc labourer duties
• Spotting of trades staff when working at heights
• Working alongside trades staff on various materials handling equipment on site
• General works support duties
• A current working at heights licence
• EWP Licence (up to 11m);
• First aid including CPR
• White Card or Construction card;
• Experience labouring in a trades environment
