Resident Medical Officer - Acute Medical Unit
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time Appointments for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).
Must be available to commence on 12 January 2026 or earlier.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 03 / 11 / 2025.
Position Profile
We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced Resident Medical Officers to our Acute Medical Unit (AMU) for a 12 month period. It is intended that this will assist in developing skills in General Medicine in a focussed manner for doctors at Resident Medical Officer level. In this role you will provide a high-quality clinical service to all hospital patients under the supervision of Clinical Supervisors including Consultants and Registrars within a multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to work within your ability and according to the hospital's core values of Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence. In this role you will also expand your knowledge and skills through the available learning opportunities.
