Forklift Operator and Factory Sorter

Based from our Idalia Branch, we currently have a Full Time opportunity for a Forklift Operator and Factory Sorter to join our branch to assist in the day-to-day operation of our recycling facility. We are looking for a get up and go team player who will always strive to get the job done, safely and within the required time-frames. This role would suit a working mum or dad, with flexibility available to accommodate school hours or other family commitments.

Role responsibilities :

• Ensure facility is maintained to a clean standard at all times
• Emptying of pallets and container bins
• Ensure all stock is returned to the correct place
• Check loads are secure
• Stack empty pallets
• Moving goods packed on pallets or crates around the facility
• Assist in the unloading and reloading of local trucks
• Loading of export containers and semi-trailers to allowed load limits
• Operation of shredding and bailing equipment in accordance with standards
• Check quality of incoming and outgoing materials and report any non-compliance to the supervisor
