Trinamic Consultants is a well-established Adelaide-based building services consultancy delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire designs across commercial, industrial, education, and government sectors.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong HVAC design experience and leadership capability to join our team. The successful applicant will work closely with our existing senior staff as they take on the role of Mechanical Discipline lead with the potential for partnership or ownership opportunities in the future.

Overview of role : Lead mechanical services team in the delivery of building projects from concept to construction completion. As a small business, discipline leaders and directors are also involved in the day-to-day engineering. Contribute to mentoring and technical leadership within our multidiscipline team. Manage client relationships, project pipeline opportunities and project delivery as in house project and discipline leader. Attend site inspections, meetings, and provide construction-phase support. Competitive salary pending experience and qualifications. Path to future shareholding / ownership and the opportunity to shape the direction of a business into the future. Prerequisites : 7+ years' experience in mechanical building services design Strong understanding of HVAC systems for commercial projects (preferably in the Australian and South Australian markets) Confident communicator and comfortable with client liaison. Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering preferred, however extensive experience with HVAC contracting / project management will also be considered. Understanding of current engineering principles, National Construction Code, Standards, and Regulations. Experience with REVIT / AutoCAD, Bluebeam & Microsoft Office. Registered / Chartered Engineering Qualification preferred but not necessary.
