The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Change Management Specialist to join the Service Design and Transition team within Customer Strategy and Technology division.
Reporting to the Service Design and Transition Manger, this role assists with the assessment, analysis, documentation and implementation of changes based on requests for changes to Services and Systems.
The role will execute change management practices as per defined processes to ensure mínimal disruptions to operations for customers and TfNSW stakeholders. You would be involved in undertaking change evaluation processes, validate incoming change requests (RFCs), ensure impact assessments are complete, manage, review, evaluate and approve emergency changes as per defined processes
You would be responsible for enforcing standard change classifications and procedures, prioritise and categorise change requests, ensure change policy compliance. Ensuring compliance related procedures and practices are in place and also assist with the execution of the change management process, including communications and implementation activities, across all services and coordinate approvals and monitor changes through all stages of the change lifecycle to drive change management outcomes.
You are eager to drive collaboration within the team and wider business and are always looking at how we can do things better. Your analytical thinking is coupled with ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise. You have high level experience in both stakeholder management and engagement. You're proactive, can think outside of the box and use your communication skills and initiative to get things done and resolve issues independently.
You are flexible, with the ability to adapt to a changing and sometimes uncertain environment. You have worked tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.
With regards to the technical skills, ITIL certification and exposure to running CABs, Technical Review Boards (TRBs) would set you up for success in the role. A technical background in IT with a qualification in IT or similar field will be highly regarded. Experience with Service Now or any similar ITSM tool would be preferred
