The City is currently looking for an experienced Coordinator Waste and Cleaning to join our team. This role will lead a team to undertake a range of project management, business improvement and support functions for the waste and cleaning service.

As the Coordinator Waste and Cleaning, you will support the City by :

• Supporting the Waste and Cleaning Manager to identify and facilitate innovation, change and continuous improvement strategies in alignment with the strategic community plan, corporate business plan and the waste management Plan.
• Providing leadership, direction, guidance and support to the Waste and Cleaning Service Unit.
• Exercising control for the planning, direction, coordination and evaluation of operations which includes analysis and interpretation of multi-discipline projects.
• Developing and implementing the Waste and Cleaning annual projects program in accordance with the City's waste plan, long-term financial plan and asset management program.
• Providing high level contract and procurement management, including specifications and contract administration.
