I am partnering with a company who specialise in providing consulting and manufactured engineering solutions to the Water and Hydrogeology space in Australia for the mining and utility sectors.
As a result of continued growth we are currently recruiting for an experienced
Engineering Managerto ensure the effective management, growth and coordination of the day-to-day operations of our Engineering & Manufacturing operations.Key Role Responsibilities of this role includeDriving the Engineering & Manufacturing process from concept to market deployment - with design through to manufacture and commissioning, including technical management, people management, quality assurance, financial tracking and reporting.The effective management of the business in a safe, economical, and efficient manner to achieve the required business, financial, environmental and safety outcomes.A core focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing best practices, to optimise the end quality of the product and performance of the team.Deliver on strict manufacturing schedules.Consulting with team members, Project Managers, Engineers and other technical members to ensure that the clients' requirements are met.Oversee the management of multiple projects and multi-disciplined teams.Work through the concept, design, estimating and negotiating process with client and appropriate key personnel to finalise contract.Manage the ongoing development of staff by providing a coaching / mentoring role that encourages professional and personal growth in both breadth and depth.Essential Experience & SkillsetMinimum 5 years' experience managing a small / medium Engineering division in a manufacturing company.Bachelor's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.Extensive management experience and the ability to effectively manage, motivate and train staff.A proven track record with dewatering, pumping and hydraulic equipment / systems.Mechanical design experience end to end from 1st principles.The benefitsFull-time permanent Perth based employment in a secure and growing industryAttractive and competitive remuneration packagePerformance bonus and IncentivesFlexible working arrangementsThe opportunity to build and manage a teamClear progression to General ManagementWhy Work with usWe are continually evolving and investing in our people and facilities to achieve satisfying outcomes.
