We seek a committed Coordinator and Nominated Supervisor to help inspire children at our Burke Ward OSHC services in Broken Hill. About Your New Role

You will design and deliver a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following Y valuesYou will oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging program following My Time Our Place Volume II principalsYou will become a trusted leader in the community, working closely with Y NSW families, schools and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local actionYou will manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growthYou will be able to follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career

To be successful in this role, you will have :

Experience of and commitment to be responsible for the safety and well-being of childrenExperience leading othersAbility to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every dayAvailability to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hoursAbility to work in a team seamlessly.

Qualifications

A Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desired)Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Mandatory)Valid NSW Working with Children CheckHLTAID004 / HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR (Mandatory)Police Check (paid for by the Y)

Childcare Services

Our Children Services Team are the passionate leaders giving developing young minds the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun outside of school. Across 47 schools in NSW, our team of OSHC Educators and Coordinators provide before and after school (and school holiday) care that's dedicated to the safety and development of young children. Every day, the team facilitate and run a range of valuable programs and activities that include sport, creative arts, cooking – and many more. These roles work closely with children, parents and teachers alike, to provide meaningful opportunities for young people within a healthy, safe and inclusive environment.
