About The Role Abnormal Security is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join the Australian team. This team sells our security solutions to Enterprise level accounts within a defined territory.
The ideal candidate will be local to Melbourne or Sydney and possess the following skills :
Ability to hunt : disciplined pipeline development, prospecting into enterprise accounts, leveraging demand generation pillars. Good qualifier : uncover and discover customer problems and pains. Good presenter : demonstrate value based on customer pain points. Disciplined in sales methodology and time management : execute a repeatable sales process without sacrificing quality. Data integrity discipline : maintain accurate and consistent account and opportunity data. Ability to develop and present a business case showing high ROI to multiple stakeholders. Ability to document and organize customer knowledge and lessons learned. Guide internal stakeholders through their buying processes. Grit : succeed in an early-stage environment with limited resources. Leverage other departments like Sales Engineering, Marketing, BDRs, Product, and Customer Success. What You Will Do Sell Abnormal security solutions to your territory, aiming to overachieve your annual recurring revenue quota. Work with enterprise accounts (>
3k mailbox organizations) from initial contact through signing and upselling. Prospect and generate new business opportunities to maintain a healthy sales pipeline. Collaborate with Customer Success for renewals and expansion opportunities. Maintain accurate documentation across all sales systems (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan). Represent the customer internally to ensure appropriate prioritization for revenue growth. Must Haves 3+ years of enterprise prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts. Experience negotiating with large organizations and closing complex sales. Consistent over-quota performance or top 5% in sales organization. Technical competence in security, email, cloud, AI, etc. Experience selling subscription software / SaaS to CISOs and security personnel. Start-up experience, especially in early-stage or resource-limited environments. BS / BA degree or equivalent work experience.
