    About the Opportunity

    Play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Council's Civic Centre. Your administrative support will help us meet our legislative requirements and deliver high-quality services.

    You will make an impact by

    • Preparing Council Chambers and meeting rooms for various events.
    • Liaising with organisers to arrange room setups, equipment, and catering.
    • Monitoring and maintaining kitchen supplies and coffee machines.
    • Ensuring cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs of meeting rooms.
    • Providing administrative support for Mayoral events and Citizenship Ceremonies.
    • What you will bring

    • Strong organisational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Experience in administrative support and event coordination.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
    • Familiarity with office equipment and maintenance procedures.
    • Competence in using electronic booking systems and updating websites.
