We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Multidisciplinary Medical Scientist for a full-time position.

The following are the essential requirements for this role :

Demonstrated experience in a range of routine and advanced testing in haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and immunology. Holds a degree in medical laboratory science or a science degree with relevant subjects, or an overseas qualification assessed as equivalent by AIMS. Minimum five (5) years' experience as a medical scientist in a NATA-accredited (or equivalent) multi-disciplinary laboratory. Experience in a supervisory or management position. Must have the right to work in Australia. Performing assay calibration and QC, and involvement with the laboratory QAP program. Regular testing of all pathology samples. Validation of new tests if required. Participation in internal and external audits. Performing stocktake as needed. Training junior staff members. Participation in public holiday and weekend rosters.
