We focus on people and their wellbeing, believing in fairness, honesty, transparency, and authenticity in everything we do.Key Responsibilities : Achieve and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annually).Conduct sales calls and meetings with new and existing clients, including key account planning.Prepare accurate and timely quotations aligned with workshop capabilities.Analyze customer specifications to develop tailored technical and commercial proposals.Utilize Salesforce to manage sales opportunities and track activities.Provide monthly sales forecasts and performance insights on products and services.Generate sales reports and contribute to performance analysis.Ensure smooth handovers to operations by communicating customer requirements clearly.Deliver onsite technical support, resolve issues, and conduct service evaluations.Contribute to the development of new products and service offerings.Qualifications : Minimum 5 years' technical sales experience in mining, minerals, or related industries.Trade or engineering qualification (e.g., fitting / machining or similar mechanical trade) is desirable.Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and deliver results, especially with pumps and related equipment.Strong communication skills, including report and proposal writing, and presenting to diverse audiences.Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce.Willingness to travel frequently, including to remote sites, with the ability to work in varied environments with PPE.Demonstrated strengths in customer service, problem solving, business acumen, ethics, motivation, adaptability, and initiative.Founded in 1871, Weir is a global engineering leader committed to making mining operations smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.
