We have an exciting career opportunity for a Strategic Account Manager (SAM), to join our Canberra Sales team.
The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for actively leading Global Express's key strategic account (s) and / or a bespoke portfolio of strategic accounts. The overarching goal is to maximise GE's profile, share of wallet and ultimately build customer loyalty such that retention and expansion is optimised.
You will form part of a Strategic Accounts team reporting to a Head of Strategic Accounts - Government. You will be responsible for developing, expanding and solidifying long-term relationships with each customer that enable key business retention and expansion across the customer footprint and network. This will be an enterprise-wide responsibility, spanning all BU's in the active representation and solutioning to partner effectively.
The Strategic Account Manager is a process and contract driven role and to succeed in this role we are also looking for someone who has experience / exposure in Federal Government, (able to navigate government processes).
Experience in the management and selling of complex B2B solutions to large business customers including identifying, qualifying, proposing, and closing sales opportunities with long sales lead times.
