Our client, Ibis Technology, is a growing Perth-based business that designs, installs and maintains custom laboratory water systems. Their clients include some of the most respected names in pathology, mining and research such as Clinipath, PathWest, Intertek, SGS, UWA and Curtin University.
This full-time position would suit someone with solid mechanical aptitude and practical, hands-on skills who enjoys variety in their work. You'll become a key part of a small, supportive team that values its people, gives you time to do the job properly, and encourages continual improvement.
About The Role
This is not just a service job. You'll split your time between on-site service and workshop builds, giving you variety in your day-to-day responsibilities. The role includes :
Preventative and breakdown maintenance of laboratory water systems across PerthConstructing and commissioning new systemsCollaborating with engineers to improve system designWorkshop-based system builds and van / tool improvements 12 days per weekQuarterly travel to Bunbury or Geraldton for site support
