• The role
• A permanent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team within the Mining & Civil Industries.
• Based in the O'Connor office with regular site visits to the Pilbara and Goldfields site locations.
• Visible and proactive role to ensure compliance with WHS legislation, all policies, procedures and systems.
• This role will manage all work, health, safety aspects of Premium Mechanical Group.
• Promoting the core values and ensuring all operations are safely maintained for our employees, contractors, and clients.
• Liaise with client site representatives to provide support and conduct joint risk assessments and communicate the PMG Management Plan.
• Monthly WHS reporting including all return-to-work plans, incidents, safety stats, recordable injuries, and any notable terms of operational safety.
• What you need
• Cert IV in WHS, HSE or equivalent
• Proven previous experience in a WHS role or similar for a minimum of 2 years
• Ability to identify and implement effective WHS initiatives across the business.
• Proactive approach to creating a team focus to WHS with practical real-world experience
• Ability to build and develop great working relationships both internally and externally
• Motivation to drive continuous improvement and think outside the box
• Knowledge and understanding of all relevant acts, and regulations
• Client & Employer Focused / Safety conscious / Diligent attitude
