12-month contract, with 2 extensions possibleACT preferred, other locations consideredCompetitive rates, negotiable based on experienceAbility to obtain Baseline Security ClearanceProven experience in vessel safety or related regulated industries (e.g., road, air, maritime)Our client is a Federal Government body that is responsible ensuring the safety of maritime vessel operations, combating marine pollution, and search and rescue nationally.They are seeking 2 x Senior Business Analysts to support a range of high-priority regulatory projects.Responsibilities include : Delivering business analysis and business solution designDeveloping high-level and detailed functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, and scenariosAnalysing and mapping business processes, user pathways, and information flowsActing as the conduit between stakeholders, project teams, and IT resourcesSupporting legislative change through business requirements and solutionsProducing high-quality documentation, including guidelines, process maps, and proceduresContributing to continuous improvement initiatives across ITMust-Have Criteria : Minimum 5 years' experience delivering business analyst services in Federal or State Government projectsProven experience in technical writing, including requirements, guidelines, process maps, and proceduresStrong communication skills, with the ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and build effective relationshipsHolds a Business Analyst certification aligned with relevant industry standardsExperience supporting solutions that enable legislative or regulatory changeDemonstrated experience working in vessel safety, or in comparable regulated industries (e.g.
