Boilermaker

To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Boilermaker to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in the Lithgow / Bathurst NSW area.

In this facility we work within a team of project managers, engineers, designers and fabricators on projects large and small.

Daily duties will typically include :

• Workshop and site activities
• Removal and / or repair of existing structures or mechanical components
• MIG and Stick welding
• Air Arc Gauging
• Preparation and installation of structural steel and mechanical assemblies
• Manufacture, weld, grind, drill and polish to trade requirements
• Inspection and Testing
• The Right Person
• Strong understanding of heavy industry fabrications, machining and fitting processes
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Trade Qualification (Cert. III) in Fabrication (Advantageous) or a minimum 2 years' welding experience
• First aid certificate (Advantageous)
• Working at heights.
• Confined space.
• Class C driver license.
• High risk work license - Forklift
• High risk work license - Dogging
