You will join a team of a highly motivated and collaborative professionals that work in the Enterprise Transformation Group (ETG). The ETG is made up of two Divisions, the Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) and the Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Division (ESTD). These Divisions have been established to drive the AEC's transformation agenda, and to deliver the Election Systems Modernisation Program (Indigo Program) on behalf of the agency.
The Indigo Program is a once in a generation modernisation program to improve the delivery of election and roll management services. The Program Planning and Reporting section within the ESTD supports the successful delivery of the Indigo Program through detailed planning and reporting functions. This includes the prioritisation of objectives and development of, and reporting against, the Program's delivery roadmap. Using a Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) methodology, the team is also responsible for the functional capability of the Solution Management Team (SMT).
The Assistant Director will lead and manage a team that will undertake a range of activities to support the effective and efficient functioning of the Indigo Program.
In this role, you will support Indigo Program planning by overseeing and managing the development of schedules, plans, and timeline / critical path monitoring, including dependency mapping and workforce planning. The team is also responsible for developing and delivering against a catalogue of program reporting artefacts to provide a range of audiences with visibility of Program progress against key deliverables, in support of insight, analysis, governance, assurance and decision making.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, preparation and maintenance of high-quality program documentation including briefings, decision papers, presentations, plans and reporting artefacts. This will include analysis and evaluation of progress, identifying risks, and developing intervention procedures or mitigation measures where required.
