About the opportunity
Cabonne Council has an exciting opportunity to join the Age of Fishes Museum team as a Tourism Officer.
This position is responsible for providing quality customer service and information
services to visitors of the Museum and Visitors Information Centre.
This role is a casual role, based out of the Age of Fishes Museum.

About You
As a dedicated Tourism Officer, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for visitors to the Age of Fishes Museum.
To be successful in this role, you will possess
Class C driver's licence.Criminal History Check.Working with Children Check.Qualifications in relevant field and / or previous experience in a similar role.First aid certification.Excellent Communication Skills with high level of customer service approach.Organisation and time management skills.Ability to research and find information on the web.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.Ability to work weekends.
Remuneration And Benefits
The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023 and Cabonne Council's policies and conditions of employment.
The position is a grade 2 in Council's salary system with an hourly rate of $36.05 to $38.82 dependant on qualifications and experience, which includes a casual loading.
