A large federal government agency is seeking experienced Salesforce Administrators (APS6 equivalent) to support a major digital and cloud transformation initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multi-year program modernising service delivery using cutting-edge cloud technologies - with Salesforce at its core .

About the Role

You will be an integral part of a dynamic, fast-paced team supporting a wide range of projects and business-as-usual releases across the Salesforce ecosystem. The role reports to the Environment Manager and will focus on environment planning, hands-on administration, release support, and CI / CD initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Salesforce environment and code management plans
• Execute hands-on administration and support activities across projects and releases
• Manage platform security and user permissions
• Troubleshoot and coordinate issue resolution with internal and vendor teams
• Support and enable CI / CD, release activities, and production deployments
• Evaluate new Salesforce releases and advise on functionality impacts
• Maintain documentation on policies, processes, and configurations
• Mentor junior team members and assign work
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, PMs, and security specialists

Skills & Experience

Essential :

Certified Salesforce Administrator

Minimum 2 years' experience in Salesforce ecosystem

Strong knowledge of Salesforce security (roles, profiles, OWD, sharing rules)

Experience with Data Loader and Service Cloud

Proven problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent documentation and communication skills

Desirable :

ITIL Foundation Certification

Jira and Confluence experience

Scrum / Agile working knowledge

Passion for accessibility and inclusive design
