We are seeking a (Café / Restaurant Manager) to join our clients passionate team at their Restaurant known for its relaxed atmosphere, warm hospitality, and a team that feels like family. The restaurant is located in Stradbroke Island. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced hospitality settings, values teamwork, and wants to make their mark on a growing business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate daily café / restaurant operations.
- Lead and train front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Oversee rosters, stock ordering, supplier relationships, and cost control.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
- Resolve customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
Skills & Qualifications :
Minimum 18 years old with full Australian working rights.Proven at least 1 year of proven full-time experience in a similar hospitality or customer service management role.Hold industry relevant qualifications.Strong leadership and team-building skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of food handling, hygiene standards, and POS systems.Barista skills or food service experience preferred.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidayThis is a full-time position offering a salary of $70,000 – $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
