Salary : $55,000 - $70,000 a year

Bellarine Bake House is a special bakery cafe with a relaxed atmosphere and full menu including house specialties with superb coffee. It offers quality handmade pies, sausage rolls, cup cakes, cakes, slices, tarts and much more. All of their menu offerings in the Café are handmade from the freshest quality ingredients.

Bellarine Bake House is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Baker to join their creative team.

• The Role

As a Baker you will need to possess the following :

• Preparation of pastry and fillings
• Dough mixing
• Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough
• Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times
• Inspecting quality of products throughout production process.
• Ensuring wastage is minimised and budget of supplies and materials are adhered.
• A work ethic with a focus on continual self-improvement
• Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends
• Successful applicants must have the following
• Relevant qualification
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
• Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired
• Possess effective communication skills
