This role involves leading the delivery of Council's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in collaboration with other business units.
You will strive for the achievement of key objectives set out within the RAP while supporting the Coordinator Diversity and Inclusion through governance and reporting on the status of all RAP commitments.
- Key Responsibilities include but not limited to : _
- Manage RAP reporting, working with other business units to ensure that all RAP data is captured in a way that achieves a holistic view
- Prepare a wide range of RAP related communications
- Play an active role in the development of the next RAP
- Research and analyse data and information to support the development of projects and related policies
- Prepare a range of project related documents, including status updates, project reports, minutes and discussion papers
- Work collaboratively with the RAP Advisory and RAP Working Groups, and team members in undertaking RAP related tasks and implementing project plans and activities
- About You
You are passionate about producing better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their families and communities. You have knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's cultures, identities and contemporary issues.
You have a collaborative and influential approach as well as significant skill in consultation, policy analysis and development and strategic planning skills.

- experience in supporting projects / or project delivery
- problem solving skills, and ability to think laterally and strategically
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations and government agencies
- Excellent written communication skills, creating communication pieces including newsletters and social media content, papers, reports and other materials
- Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
