Practice Nurse - 12 Month Maternity Leave About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Practice Nurse to join our esteemed Marong Medical Practice team on 12 month maternity leave contract (with the possibility for on-going). As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the smooth operation of our medical practice. This is a full-time position based in Marong, Victoria.
What you'll be doing Assisting doctors in the examination and treatment of patients
Performing clinical procedures such as wound care, injections, and health screenings
Educating patients on various health topics and promoting preventive care
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with medical documentation requirements
Coordinating and scheduling patient appointments
Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide seamless patient care
Ensuring the practice's clinical environment is well-stocked and maintained
Assisting the Practice Manager with accreditation tasks
What we're looking for Registered Nurse (Division 1) with a current Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (ANMB) registration
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar practice nurse or clinical nursing role
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
Proficient in using electronic medical records and patient management software
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
