- About the Role
- The purpose of this role is to monitor and manage the health of critical production equipment to improve reliability, standardise practices and support as well as develop and improve asset health monitoring capabilities.
- Reporting to the Supervisor Asset Health Evaluation, your key responsibilities will include :
- Condition Monitoring
- Utilise equipment maintenance and condition monitoring expertise to review equipment health data as well as outputs from predictive models.
- Provide maintenance recommendations to operational stakeholders based on asset health data.
- Follow up the status of actions with operational stakeholders to ensure rectification work is performed.
- Review and understand feedback on completed recommendations to improve the way we monitor equipment.
- Systems & Processes
- Utilise and identify opportunities to improve the monitoring of equipment asset health.
- Assist with the development of new predictive models and tools.
- Drive system changes to continuously improve maintenance practices.
- Participate in UAT for newly implemented systems and processes.
- Data Analysis
- Monitoring and Review of fixed plant and mobile Asset Health data including but not limited to sensor data, vibration analysis, oil samples results and 1 SAP history.
- Ongoing monitoring of machine data.
- People / Leadership
- Demonstrate behaviours consistent with our Charter Values.
- Establish effective key working relationships in all line, peer and associate role relationships.
- Engage with senior leadership within the business to problem solve, troubleshoot and influence improvement.
- Assists with the development of fellow team members.
- Finance
- Support cost improvement initiatives across the MECoE function.
- About You
- As the successful applicant you will be able to demonstrate the following :
- Strong technical knowledge of fixed plant equipment as well as site maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in SAP or other computerised maintenance management system.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in condition-based maintenance practices.
- A sound understanding in vibration analysis and oil analysis techniques.
- Highly developed attention to detail with the ability to analysis condition monitoring information and provide accurate reported recommendation.
- Data exploration skills and capability to review datasets across systems, inclusive of time-series SCADA data.
- The ability to multitask and monitor data trends across critical equipment.
- Communicate technical points & logic effectively to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, work well under pressure and capability to meet fixed deadlines.
- Excellent engagement, communication and interpersonal skills.

- This role will be performed from our Centre of Excellence hub in
- Perth, or Adelaide
- Office
- working Monday to Friday offering flexible conditions. Occasional site travel is required in this role and supported by the latest technology to engage with our sites around the Australia and the globe.
