About the role : We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Project Manager to lead and deliver civil construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution—including planning, budgeting, scheduling, team leadership, stakeholder management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Based in Central Queensland - Rockhampton, Blackwater & surrounds
Role is offered on a DIDO basis - Mon-Fri dayshift roster (drive in Mon, drive out Fri)
What you'll be doing : Lead and manage civil infrastructure projects from inception to completion
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and authorities
Manage on-site teams and ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
Report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics
Identify and resolve any project-related issues or delays proactively
What we're looking for : Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar
Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in managing civil construction projects
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid understanding of project management principles, contracts, and construction legislation
Proficient in project scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical, White Card and driver's licence
