McDermott Aviation is one of Australia's largest privately-owned Helicopter Companies, primarily located on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. An exciting opportunity has evolved for a highly motivated and flexible team player to join our Warehouse and Logistics team.

• Purpose

To source components, liaise with suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and monitor shipments for time critical assets whilst skilfully utilising computers to accurately manage the vast inventory database.

Stores' Officers have great communication skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and hold the initiative and responsibility to find and complete tasks without constant direction.

• Key Responsibilities : (included but are not limited to)
• Compare purchase orders to invoices, ensuring accuracy and cost effectiveness
• Monitor stock levels and the receipt and dispatch of goods
• Picking and packing items for dispatch
• Processing inbound and outbound shipments in a time critical manner, preparing and verifying shipping documents and ensuring products are stored in the correct location (in a suitable condition)
• Part and paperwork verification in accordance with aviation authority requirements
• Develop excellent customer relations
• Stocktake activities and the safe warehousing of stock
• Transportation, purchasing and shipping processes are continually assessed to ensure time frames are met in the most cost effective way
• Actively manage the repair of unserviceable parts to get them back online
• Any other ad hoc requirements from Director of Maintenance

Forklift licence highly regarded.

Dangerous goods licence highly regarded.

Aviation experience highly regarded.

• Salary
• 55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation :

• Australia (preferred)
