Successful applicants can work full-time hours out of our offices located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra (Belconnen), Hobart, Melbourne (Docklands), Perth and Sydney, although a hybrid model of working from home and in the office applies.
The purpose of the Technology and Security Division is to secure, build, deliver and maintain ICT infrastructure and platforms in support of ABS' mission of collecting, collating, and disseminating official statistics to support decision making across Australia's public and private sectors.
The branch consists of over 400 people working across State / Territory capitals and ABS regional offices.
The five branches in the division are Security and Infrastructure Branch, Major Projects Branch, Technology Applications and Capability Branch, and IT Strategy and Architecture which manage ICT services for all of ABS' corporate, statistical service and data services divisions.
