Job descriptionKey responsibilities include Supporting the design and procurement processes to advance the establishment of the Cable Centre and its operational activities. Facilitating effective relationship management with the Lead Contractor post-selection. Establishing and maintaining efficient contract management procedures, while monitoring and tracking contract milestones and budgetary constraints. Overseeing program risks and ensuring adherence to contractual requirements through diligent monitoring and evaluation. Coordinating internal and inter-agency advisory meetings and consultations. Providing input into reporting and briefing processes. Fostering a positive team culture characterized by collaborative work dynamics and a shared sense of purpose. This includes capacity-building within the team through coaching and constructive feedback. Demonstrated expertise in a domain relevant to the department's objectives, coupled with an understanding of global affairs. Proven experience in program management, including proficiency in procurement, contract, and risk management processes. Strong relationship-building skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder relationships to achieve organizational goals. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Effective task prioritization and autonomous work management skills, with the ability to escalate pertinent issues as needed. Our federal government client is actively seeking an APS6 / EL1 Program Management Support Officer.
