EL1 ICT Project Managers will have extensive knowledge relating to the ICT business change function, commercial and procurement functions, integrating and translating these functions into delivery strategies. They will initiate, establish and maintain strong relationships with a network of stakeholders and work toward achievement of project outcomes. They will provide strategic advice to their senior management. EL1 ICT Project Managers work with considerable independence and are accountable to perform and achieve very complex ICT project management work. They achieve through leading a team(s) in the functions of planning, monitoring and management of an array of human, financial and materiel resources, exercising their associated people and financial responsibilities.
EL1 ICT Project Managers will be required to exercise people management skills and ICT / PM knowledge to lead high performing composite team(s) of APS and Contractor staff to achieve business outcomes that have Defence operational significance.
The ICT Infrastructure Delivery Branch is a team of professionals experienced in delivering complex and complicated ICT infrastructure projects. The main purpose of the Branch is to bring life-cycle scoped and funded ICT ideas to life, through upgrade of, or by introducing new ICT infrastructure. These deliveries underpin Defence Capabilities. The Branch delivers medium-to-long term duration ICT infrastructure projects.
