This is a highly rewarding but challenging role located in our stylish Robina Office on the Gold Coast within the busy Queensland Operations Retail Systems Estimating team.

Be responsible for the implementation of new products into retail systems prior to release to ensure we maintain margin and meet customer expectations. Support Sales, Marketing, Operations and Studio M by maintaining the company’s retail option inventory in our retail systems including new homes, promotions, generic option / item pricing, design options, and colour / specification items.

Reporting to the Business Systems Manager, your responsibilities will include : Establish retail prices in accordance with company margin and cost schedulesEstablish contract wording for all optionsCo-ordinate and contribute to the operational and production process for all optionsDevelop and document business requirements with stakeholders and develop systems to support agreed requirementsDefine system requirements and liaise with Software Development department (IT) to implementCo-ordinate acceptance testingEnsure all retail upgrade options have a mini-bill produced via ordering system tools, ordering method of measure and / or ordering processEnsure all retail upgrade options have a direct build cost available in ordering and / or retail system; andProvide support and liaise with relevant departments

The successful candidate will have : Suitably qualified in or currently completing a Diploma of Building Construction or similar and / or relevant trade background e.g. CarpentryMinimum 4 years’ experience in an Estimating role within residential home buildingKnowledge of the Sales, Workflow and Construction processesWorking knowledge of the Building Code and regulationsSkilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience using Estimating systems (Databuild and ClickHome is preferable); andA GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
