Located in Melbourne's CBD, the institute seeks a highly motivated and dedicated Nursing Coordinator to lead its Nursing Department.
The Nursing Coordinator will provide academic leadership in delivering units of the nursing program. Responsibilities include contributing to the Diploma of Nursing ANMAC reaccreditation proposal, facilitating student learning through teaching activities, coordinating professional experience placements, marking assessments, and liaising with colleagues, healthcare industry partners, and students.
The Nursing Coordinator / Educator will report to the Academic Dean and will liaise with students, support staff, and other educators.
Support the development of the Diploma of Nursing ANMAC reaccreditation proposal.Lead the Nursing Department.Implement, deliver, and evaluate the Diploma of Nursing course.Develop resources and validate assessment tools for the Diploma of Nursing.Perform administrative tasks related to the role.Liaise with students, support staff, other educators, and report to the Campus Course Coordinator.Facilitate student clinical placements and coordinate with healthcare partners.Communicate with the Clinical Placement Coordinator to ensure quality professional experiences.Guide students during clinical placements, providing feedback and support.Assess student performance against the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia competencies for Enrolled Nurses.Plan, prepare, and deliver education aligned with the Diploma of Nursing program requirements.Qualifications and experience required :
Bachelor of Nursing degree or higher.(TAE40116) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Minimum 1-2 years of current professional experience in coordinating and training (preferred).Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with current clinical skills.Current work experience in the VET industry relevant to the Diploma of Nursing.Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse.Knowledge of ASQA / ANMAC regulatory guidelines is highly desirable.Contact :
