Landscape Gardener

As a Landscape Gardener you will be responsible for planning and constructing garden landscapes for our clientele. Your duties will include :

• Create detailed landscape plans, including plant selection, layout, hardscape and softscape elements, and irrigation systems.
• Collaborate and communicate with clients to understand their preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Use design software and hand-drawing techniques to illustrate concepts for clients.
• Oversee the implementation and construction of landscape designs, coordinating with construction teams and ensuring the proper installation of plants, trees, and other elements.
• Prepare areas for landscaping by conducting site assessments, clearing debris, grading, testing, and amending the soil, addressing drainage issues, and installing irrigation systems.
• Install hardscape structures such as paths, patios, walls, fences, and other hardscaping features according to the design.
• Select appropriate plants based on soil conditions, climate, and aesthetic preferences.
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, seeds, bulbs, and other greenery or softscape structures.
• Identify, address, and treat any plant diseases and implement pest control.
• Shaping trees and hedges and installing support and protection structures for plants.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans on plants and grass areas including weeding, mowing, watering, fertilising, and pruning.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in landscaping and horticulture.
• Provide expert advice on plant care, pest control, and soil management.

• 70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
