Farm Manager, Central Victoria As the Central Victoria Farm Manager, you will be responsible for managing egg production farms in Nathalia, Bears Lagoon, Blowhard, and Mooroopna. You will lead and support farm managers and staff, ensuring efficient and profitable farm performance while upholding our commitment to animal welfare and safety. You will play a key role in supplying Australian families with quality fresh eggs. Key Responsibilities : Drive strong safety standards and compliance with OH&S policies and legislation across all farm sites. Oversee and support daily farm operations, including bird rearing, laying, animal welfare, and feed programs. Maximise layer and rearing farm performance and profitability through efficient egg production, equipment management, and flock changeovers. Ensure rigorous biosecurity measures and disease prevention, including for Avian Influenza and Salmonella Enteritidis. Manage and approve farm budgets, ensuring financial adherence and effective cost control. Provide ongoing training and development to farm staff and contractors, fostering best practices and building capability. What You'll Bring : 10+ years of experience in agricultural business. Proven people management and supervisory experience. Strong livestock management skills, particularly in rearing and laying. In-depth knowledge and experience in Food Safety & OH&S management. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with the ability to identify and address equipment issues. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships. Nice to Have : Bachelor's degree in agricultural science. Experience specifically within the poultry industry, especially with layers.
