Physics / Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics / Chemistry Teacher to join our team. This position is a full-time position commencing in Term 3 of 2025.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Science Faculty, under the supervision of the Head of Science, to develop and implement programs and maintain the high levels of achievement from our students in the Physics / Chemistry curriculum areas. The ability to teach all levels of Science would be an advantage.

Core Requirements :

Applicants for the position of Physics / Chemistry Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they :

• are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Reformed Evangelical Church.
• support the College’s vision of holistic Christian education.
• conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community.
• have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of NESA Science Syllabi to ensure that the College provides quality education to students.
• have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills.
• have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools.
• holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC).
• are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA.
• work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
