Opportunity for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join a passionate not-for-profit organisation supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and delivering education programs. Reporting to the CEO, this is ageneralist role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable working across both strategic and operational HR functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide HR advice and support on employee relations and performance management issues
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Maintain and develop HR policies, procedures and compliance
- Provide coaching to leaders and identify leadership development opportunities
- Produce and present HR reports for the Board and Executive team
- Liaise closely with the CEO to support organisational goals and strategy
- Ensure Award compliance, particularly with the SCHADS, General Education and Teachers Awards
About You :
To be successful in this role, you will bring :
Proven HR Management experience in a standalone or small team roleStrong knowledge of the SCHADS Award and other relevant Awards in the education sectorsA passion for improving the lives of disadvantaged young peopleExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesExperience managing change and culture initiativesRole Details :
