Opportunity knocks for an experienced HSE Superintendent to work on a landmark APAC ‘mega project’, and at the greenfield stage.

Working on an expat FIFO basis, from any global point of hire, you will oversee and elevate the safety culture and compliance standards. The role is pivotal in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of a vast multinational workforce and will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE systems, fostering a culture of safety excellence from the ground up.
We are particularly interested to hear from experienced MINING HSE Superintendents, that meet the following criteria :
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Support the Development and implementation of comprehensive HSE management system tailored to the unique needs of the site.
- Proven ability to partner with Senior Management to formulate and integrate the overall business strategy for health and safety, ensuring safety is a core business value.
- Drive a proactive safety culture, champion and embed best-in-class Health & Safety practices across the entire site, while inspiring a culture of vigilance and responsibility.
- Leadership roles in remote sites, preferably in developing countries.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary health and safety teams across complex project environments.
- Foster local leadership by actively supporting and facilitating the integration and development of nationals into leadership roles as the project advances, building local capacity.
- Empower frontline teams and provide continuous, hands-on support to frontline leaders in crucial areas such as risk management, incident reporting and investigation, and the successful, agile execution of safety initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and rigorously manage comprehensive emergency response plans, conduct regular, realistic training drills to ensure site readiness.
Computer Skills :
Good computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, and presentation and spread sheet applications.Education :
Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or a related discipline (or equivalent)NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and SafetyCertified Lead Auditor in ISO 45001 or equivalent OH&S management systems.ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method) Training & CertificationEmergency Response Coordination or Crisis Management CertificationA competitive salary is offered, with short, and long term, incentives.
