Logistics Specialist – APAC (Temp Role) North Ryde | Global Biotech Company Temporary Contract | Supply Chain Operations | Hybrid Work Model people2people are partnering with a global leader in the biotechnology space for an experienced Logistics Specialist to join their APAC team on a 6–12 month temporary contract basis.

This is a key opportunity for someone with a solid background in supply chain and logistics to support a high-performing team during a critical period.

The Role : In this temp position, you'll manage day-to-day logistics activities across APAC – with a focus on AU / NZ operations.

You'll coordinate imports, monitor stock movements, manage third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations.

This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities : Manage daily supply chain operations across APAC markets, with a focus on AU / NZ – including order processing, shipment tracking, and sales admin.

Oversee and coordinate import activities, including documentation, permits, and follow-ups with brokers and internal teams.

Work closely with 3PLs, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.

Support AU / NZ claims processing, reporting, invoicing, and tender submissions.

Drive compliance with trade regulations and internal processes.

Collaborate with internal teams including Quality, Planning, Finance, and Global Trade.

Ideal Candidate : MUST have experience in logistics / supply chain, preferably in pharma, biotech, or a regulated environment.

Strong understanding of APAC supply chain and import / export processes.

Confident working with ERP systems (Oracle or SAP preferred).

Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
