We are currently seeking applications for multiple CyberSecurity positions at ASO5 & ASO6 classification levels to jointhe Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department ofTreasury and Finance for a period up to 2 years.
Remuneration :
ASO5 – Salary Range $85,790 p.a.
ASO6 – Salary Range $98,478 p.a.
About the opportunity :
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seekingexperienced Cyber Security professionals to assist with the secureimplementation of systems from concept through to operations.
Theincumbents will apply their professional expertise to ensureappropriate security controls are incorporated into products andservice designs for the across government security and performancelogging solution.
The incumbents will also assist in the continuedimprovement of the cyber security capabilities of the CyberSecurity Directorate in OCIO, including supporting theidentification and delivery of key security initiatives tocontinually enhance the SA Government's cyber securityposture.
About you :
To be successful in the ASO5 Cyber Security Analyst role youwill :
Contribute to the management of the across government CyberSecurity Incident Reporting Scheme including conducting reviewsof cyber incidents to analyse their impact on governmentinformation security policy.
Provide advice to agencies and suppliers in relation tocyber incidents, emergency management, and cyber crisismanagement.
Contribute to the development of strategic, operational andtactical threat and intelligence products for a range ofstakeholders.
Coordinate with other state and commonwealth governmentagencies when required in order to report and review cybersecurity incidents.

To be successful in the ASO6 Senior Cyber Security Engineer roleyou will :
Maintain a high-level understanding and knowledge base ofrelevant tools, emerging technologies and the opportunities andrisks they provide.
Actively engage and communicate with other key state andcommonwealth government agencies when required to enablecomplex integrations of various cyber securitytechnologies.
Provide technical advice and support to other cybersecurity professionals in relation to information products,such as log data, that will enhance outcomes.
Ability to design, develop, document, and implementprocesses, procedures, guidelines, and solutions.
