Senior Financial Accountant | 6 Month Contract

About the role

Reporting to senior stakeholders, this role works closely with property management teams, supporting financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. The position involves managing diverse projects, contributing to process improvements, and guiding junior team members within a collaborative team environment.

Duties / Key responsibilities

• Develop reporting packages and respond to stakeholder queries
• Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and monthly commentary
• Manage property-level financials including coding capital expenditure and reconciling bank accounts
• Support integration of new properties and manage closures of sold properties
• Lead process improvement initiatives and provide system training to new Property Managers

Skills and experience

• Degree in Accounting and CA / CPA qualified
• Strong reporting, analytics, and accounting systems skills
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks during peak periods
• Audit & Business Services background considered
