Executive Housekeeper
We’re looking for an Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team at one of Brisbane’s premier luxury hotels. You will lead and coordinate all housekeeping operations to ensure an exceptional standard of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery for our hotel partners and their guests.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding service.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and cost control.
- Uphold strict health, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance) to ensure seamless guest service.
- Respond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and report on housekeeping performance, occupancy needs, and staffing levels.
- Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing staff.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction at all times.
What We're Looking For :
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a luxury hotel or 5-star hotel.
- Strong understanding of housekeeping operations, procedures, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness and presentation.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of meeting the role’s physical demands (e.g., lifting up to 20kg, standing for long periods, performing cleaning tasks if required).
- A team-focused, positive attitude with a commitment to excellence.
